How do I create a TutorBoard account? +
Creating an account is easy! Click "Get Started" in the top navigation, fill in your name, email, and password, select whether you're a tutor or student, and accept the terms of service. You'll receive a confirmation email to verify your account.
What's the difference between a tutor and student account? +
Tutor accounts have full access to create sessions, invite students, and use all collaboration tools. Student accounts can join sessions created by tutors and participate in collaborative activities. Both account types can use whiteboards, documents, and video chat.
Is there a free trial available? +
Yes! We offer a 14-day free trial for our Pro plan. No credit card is required to start your trial. You'll have access to all Pro features during the trial period.

Whiteboards

How many people can collaborate on a whiteboard at once? +
Our whiteboards support unlimited simultaneous collaborators. Everyone can draw, write, and annotate in real-time with smooth, lag-free performance.
Can I save my whiteboard sessions? +
Yes! All whiteboard sessions are automatically saved. You can access your saved sessions from your dashboard and continue working on them later. Pro users can save unlimited sessions.
What tools are available on the whiteboard? +
Our whiteboards include pens, markers, shapes, text tools, erasers, and more. Pro users also get access to advanced tools like math equation editors, graph paper backgrounds, and custom color palettes.

Video Chat

How many people can join a video call? +
Free accounts can have up to 2 participants in a video call. Pro accounts support up to 10 participants, and Enterprise accounts can accommodate larger groups.
Can I record video sessions? +
Yes, Pro and Enterprise users can record video sessions. Recordings are saved to your account and can be downloaded or shared with students.
What browsers are supported for video chat? +
Video chat works best on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge (latest versions). Make sure your browser is up to date and that you've granted camera and microphone permissions.

Account & Billing

How do I cancel my subscription? +
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Go to Settings > Billing and click "Cancel Subscription". Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
Can I change my plan at any time? +
Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately, and we'll prorate any charges or credits to your account.
What payment methods do you accept? +
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and for Enterprise customers, we can arrange invoicing.
